It is my pleasure to write this letter of recommendation for Don Conklin. Don painted my kitchen cabinets, woodwork in a laundry room area and several doors throughout the house. He also installed hardware on the cabinets.
Don was very thorough with his contract, detailing the work to be done. Beyond that, he honored all items in the agreement. He was punctual, pleasant and very communicative as the job progressed. I always knew when to expect him and when he planned to finish a stage of the project.
His work was completely professional. My cabinets are beautiful! He was very respectful of my home, protecting my furnishings, floors and new counter tops. When he left my home everything was back in its place and there were no traces of paint oops.
In closing, I would like to thank Don for a job well done. Anyone would be lucky to have him as their painter.

Need help choosing colors?
My wife and I, at the recommendation of a dear friend, hired Don Conklin to paint the interior of our home. We asked his advice on several color schemes and he suggested that his wife come over to assist us in our color choices. The end result was spectacular. We now have several different colored walls that enhance our art collection. Don's attention to detail, his neatness, and his work ethic were very impressive.

In April of 2006, I hired Don Conklin of Conklin Painting to paint my entire living room, hallway, and ceiling while we were away on vacation. During this time, I also asked him to tear out and replace the old baseboard with something updated and more pleasing to the eye. He gave several valuable suggestions and helpful hints in the selection process, and I was very thankful for his most agreeable nature and assistance.
When we returned home, my wife and I were thrilled with what we saw. He had not only fulfilled his commitment flawlessly, but had showed the most precise attention to detail in every way. He went above and beyond expectation by finding special paint to finish the light fixture and air-inlet ducts to match the ceiling.
